Privacy Policy

The following are used only when you use the related feature: • Camera (apps): to scan QR codes. • Photos: to read QR codes from images and, in the apps, to save the QR codes you create. • Location: when you tap "Get Current Location", to put your position into a map QR code. The apps use your location only while they are open. You can turn these permissions off at any time in your browser or device settings.

The website uses your browser's local storage to remember display preferences such as the sidebar state. The apps store your language setting on your device. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Some features use third-party services, which handle data under their own privacy policies: • The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver it. • On the phone, SMS and contact pages, the website asks ipapi.co to estimate your country from your IP address so the country code can be preselected. • When you use "Get Current Location" on the website, the coordinates are sent to BigDataCloud to look up the country, and the map preview is loaded from Google Maps. • The Android app reads QR codes with Google ML Kit. Images are processed on the device, but ML Kit may send diagnostic information (such as device model, app version and performance data) to Google. • Links, maps, phone numbers and email addresses you open from a QR code open in other apps or websites, whose own privacy policies apply.

Because QR codes are created and read on your device, we cannot see what you create or scan. Images you save or share are handled by your device and the apps you choose.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
